Who we are

Velocity is a neon parkour speedrunning game ("the Game", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Game on the web or as an installed app, and what we do with it.

Data we collect

• Account data — email address and a chosen username when you sign up or sign in (including via Google).
• Gameplay data — level completion times, leaderboard scores, and any custom maps you publish.
• Technical data — basic request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) kept by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.

We do not collect contacts, location, photos, microphone, camera, or device identifiers.

How we use it

• To let you sign in and save your progress.
• To display leaderboards and community-created maps.
• To keep the service running and prevent abuse (e.g. score tampering).

We do not sell your data. We do not show third-party ads. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.

Where data is stored

Account and gameplay data is stored on our managed backend (Supabase, hosted in the EU/US). Auth providers (Google) may process your email when you choose to sign in with them.

Your rights

• Access & correction — change your username from your profile in the game.
• Deletion — you can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from /delete-account.

Children

The Game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app.
